Assisted Living Education
FSL is a community leader in education and advocacy for older adults, and adults with disabilities. The Assisted Living Education program provides affordable and flexible training that promotes the highest standards of care for managers and caregivers of Assisted Living Facilities, including Adult Foster Care. These trainings are also very beneficial for family members caring for a loved one.
These classes offer excellent and diverse faculty utilizing a variety of techniques to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully assist individuals in your facility. Classes may be held at the FSL Caregiver House in central Phoenix, at your facility, or through independent study.
All programs are approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers (NCIA Board). They are eligible for NCIA Board approved CEUs as listed and are also appropriate for ongoing education requirements for certified caregivers.
FSL does not offer assisted living manager certificate training at this time. Please refer to the listing of approved training programs on the NCIA Board website: www.aznciaboard.us.
